Accounting Analyst

Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd, has an opportunity available for an Accounting Analyst in our Financial Services department. This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Liberty Corner, New Jersey.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Processing non-payment cancellation and reinstatement notices
Processing commission reconciliation and payment processing
Cash application
Return premium
Monthly account current statements and aged A/R reconciliation
Deductible invoicing and collection
Deposit suspense reconciliation
Customer service
Identifying and resolving billing issues
An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
Commercial insurance business knowledge is a plus
The ability to work in a fast paced, corporate environment are preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Must be proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
