This opportunity is two pronged.
The first expectation of the candidate will be to work cooperatively with administration to identify the materials and budget needed to effectively develop the course and build an engaging curriculum.
Secondly, the candidate will be expected to create lessons through an assortment of lectures, demonstrations, and use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations.
As a result, students will be able to identify the basic components of media arts, while applying practical and artistic components of technology.
The candidate will be expected to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of our at risk students.
Candidates will possess the following:
Education / Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree.
Certificate:
CE, CEAS or Standard.
Current letter of approval from the Office of Criminal History Review.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities /
Experience:
Operates from a personal code of ethics.
Skilled in methods of effective classroom management.
Skilled in methods of managing student behavior.
Able to supervise students in structured and unstructured situations.
Capable of writing clear, informative, grammatically correct evaluative reports.
Capable of basic computer literacy.
